Industrial-Academic Cooperation Group recruited a member of the Youth TLO project

Konkuk University’s Industrial- Academic Cooperation Group recruited a member of the Youth TLO project. This project supports the expertise of young people in science and engineering to allow them to have competitiveness for future work. The member of the Youth TLO is there to support the transfer of technology to universities, student start-ups, and industry-academic research in laboratories as a researcher of the Industrial-Academic Cooperation Group who belongs to the Technology Licensing Office.

KU’s TLO project targets graduates who are interested in employment and start-up and will be hired for six months. After participation in the project, the members should work in the Industrial- Academic Cooperation Group or in a laboratory on campus. Moreover, in the case of potential start-ups, consideration for the space for the start-up in the school will be given.

The secretary of the Ministry of Science and ICT said through the Youth TLO project, it is expected to solve youth employment problems caused by the rapid increase in youth population and the low economic growth rate, and to contribute promotion of commercialization in the private area of the university's Research and Development(R&D) achievements.
