Konkuk University announced the 2020 academic changes. The College of Engineering announced that it will expand the system of divisions. The table below shows how it will arrange the departments.

Seven departments in the College of Engineering decided to rearrange departments into four divisions from 2020. Except for the division of Industrial Management of Engineering, KU plans to recruit freshman by divisions. The Department of Industrial Engineering and Advanced Industry Fusion belong to same division, however, they will be managed differently.

Among the students of these departments, those who want to change their department can change their department to the division during 2019 winter vacation. On the other hand, students who do not want to change their department can remain in their department for six years.
