The Tuition Review Subcommittee (TRS) has gathered nine times after their regular meetings in January to discuss tuition regarding problems caused by COVID-19.
Due to COVID-19 , Konkuk University had to undergo changes. Unexpected expenditures were made to cope with problems caused by COVID-19, academic schedules including the start of the semester were canceled or rearranged, and the usage of school facilities were
restricted to prevent any transmission of the virus. Considering such situation, the Central Operative Committee requested KU for a TRS gathering to discuss the problems related to tuition. KU agreed on the thought and accepted the request.
Through the gatherings, school representatives of the TRS delivered students’ opinions on partial refund of tuition along with other problems students are going through.

KU promised to do their best on settling the discussed problems. KU also replied that an immediate refund of tuition is difficult due to regulations, thus promised to reduce tuition for the second semester
