A week-long event to provide an opportunity to join a new club

 From August 31 to September 1, a week-long event to welcome freshmen organized by the Club Association was held near the Student Union Bldg, Cheongsimdae, triangle on Konkuk University’s campus. The freshman week event is an event in which central clubs belonging to the KU Club union, a student self-governing organization, participate. The Freshman Welcome Week can be seen as an event to promote the central club and recruit new members to the central club. In this article, we will find out what fields the central club consists of and what activities they did during this week.
 First, KU's central club consists of nine divisions. They include the Leisure and Martial Arts Division, the Creative Criticism Division, the Religion Division, the Natural Science
Division, the Humanities and Social Affairs Division, the Per for mi ng A r ts Division, the Language Division, the Volunteer Division, and the Ball Sports Division.
 This freshman week, the club union hosted a main event with the concept of Blue Marble, one of Korea's famous board games. The main event was a prize draw by collecting stickers through participating in those booths. It also held, lottery event that involved by taking a picture with a KUshaped balloon, the mascot of Kon k u k Universit y, and uploading it to Instagram Story. In addition, each club organized various events in a way that could show their characteristics to encourage students to participate and join the club.
 The Freshman Week gave many students the opportunity to get information about the central club and find out what clubs are suitable for them.
