There is a strong power in writing. Before I travel to new cities or countries, I always read books and reviews on websites that have been written by other people who already went or lived there. Through their writings, I could feel the place deeper and differently. Life is not very different from travel. I hope you can see more things and make your life richer through writings.

The Konkuk Bulletin is the only English Journal in Konkuk University. I truly hope many students get information about our university and various cultures from the journal. The reporters of The Konkuk Bulletin promise to do our best to make a better magazine, and any kinds of feedback would be heartily welcomed whether it is about the context or the design.

In Vol.293, the Cover Story is written about Yun Dong-ju who is one of the most beloved Korean poets. Through his life and poems, you may understand Korean history better. Especially, since 2019 is the 100th anniversary of the biggest Korea’s independence movement, the March First Movement, it would be the best timing for you to learn more about Korean history of the 20th century.
