Students try to find a career path through personality types

Konkuk University offers counseling programs through WE:IN. The MBTI group counseling is one of the programs that KU students can use. This program was running from August 23 to September 1 and was available to 90 students who submitted an application. They were placed into nine groups. 10 students in the same group tooke a class twice in total with each other. Counseling was conducted once a week.

In the first half of class, the consultant explained all types of MBTI and the features of each type. The consultant then asked students to predict their own MBTI, which they had tested before during group counseling. After receiving the MBTI, students received two tasks to do before the next group counseling. The first task was to write down their daily goals and check every day to see whether they were achieved or not. The second task was to predict the MBTI of their family members or friends by looking at their behavior and listening to what they say regularly.

In the second half of the class, students presented their homework. By indirectly experiencing a lot of examples, students was then able to understand the MBTI more completely. The last task was to talk about their own problems and share solutions. Students tried to understand each other in view of the MBTI. Finally, students could learn to overcome their weakness and find their strength. Even after the whole class was over, students could communicate with the consultant through a provided messenger.
