The Idea contest “KICK(Key Idea Challenge for Konkuk): Breaking the paradigm of thinking” is being held by the 53th General Student Association, GONG:GAN. The first theme, “Advancing Konkuk”, is related to the areas of education, culture and art. The second theme “Developing Konkuk”, includes the areas of technology, systems and environment. In both themes, students can propose their ideas about how to promote KU’s growth in these six areas.

To participate in this contest, students must prepare an entry form, complete a certificate of enrollment, and include a pdf file of idea report. Additionally, every participant must submit a certificate of enrollment through email. Groups of more than six people are not allowed to participate, but there is no limit to the minimum of participants.

The preliminary stage of these contest has two judging standards looking at the article, theme and content of the submissions. The theme’s main judging criteria is the idea plan’s excellence. In the content there are four criterias: they are creativity, logic, commercial value, and the possibility of realization. The next stage is the finals. In the finals, in addition to the previous stage, the ability to transmit the content, the attitude of participants in the Q&A session, and the time observance of speech will be judged.

Participants should submit every document by September 24, 5:00 p.m. The finalists will be announced through personal text message. Due to COVID-19, the final judging date and exhibition date of the work is not determined yet.
