An official application of Konkuk University has been newly released. The General Student Association (GSA) has continued to request a reorganization of the KU mobile application. As a result, this new application has been revised with the problems being resolved. The biggest changes are improvements in the system of errors and the UI1) design. Since it is not a usual update but a reorganization of the application, students should install the new version of the application instead of using the existing one. The application can be found by searching “Konkuk University” in English or Korean in the App Store or Play Store for iOS and Android respectively.

     To highlight the specific functions that have been added or changed. first of all, it is possible to log directly into the application with a KU official website account. This is different from previous version which required students to make another ID and password. Second, students can use their student ID card through the mobile identification. The GSA said that the building access function via mobile identification will be available soon. Third, there is a menu to check your class schedule at a glance.

     Lastly, the course registration menu was accessible simultaneously with the PC course registration in the previous version. That function was separated into another new application in November which was initially used for winter semester enrollment date. Both applications do not provide an English version.
