The representative school symbol character is on the calendar

The General Student Association (GSA) GONG:GAN opened the 2022 calendar contest as a theme event in November. Students would select one or more seasons from spring, summer, fall and winter and then submit illustrations of character KU that go well with the season. Pictures were accepted from November 22 to 28. Only those who paid the GSA’s membership fee for the second semester of 2021 were allowed to participate. The winning work was to be on the calendar. The 2022 calendar was offered to all participants and used as a product for a theme event in December. Also, the winner received the Gifticon worth about 20,000 won. The calendar was made only for the contest and is not produced or sold further.

The winner was notified individually on November 30. After that, in December, the GSA released winning works on its official Instagram. The number of winning works was 12 for each month. Every illustration expressed a sense of four seasons with character KU. In addition to the calendar contest held by the GSA, KU annually recruits calendar designs through its official website and receives applications for purchase. It was already provided in early December. Furthermore, for students who did not receive a real calendar provided by the GSA or school, the GSA creates and distributes mobile calendar including the academic schedule every year.
