2022's Sixth Holy spirit essay contest took place from May to June. The topic was about how we are going to solve job issues. You may submit it in the form of a book review, a critical review of a piece of literature, movie or culture, or write a thesis. To participate, you have to be a student in Konkuk University with less than 8 semesters of school. This means if you are on a leave of absence or you are a student attending more than eight semesters, you are not allowed to participate. If you meet the standards, you can go to the Konkuk University's Wein site and sign up online. The submission date was from May 3 to June 5, and the winners will be announced on June 15. It will be up on the school website and they will each get a message as well.
   Every participant will be given 20 points of KUM mileage, which if accumulated enough, can be used to get a scholarship. Speaking of scholarships, the first four winners will receive prize money along with the points. The first place winner will receive 500,000 won and the second place winner will receive 300,000 won. There will be two third place winners, who will get 200,000 won each. In order to get the prize money, you have to have more than 12 credits in the last semester, with a GPA higher than 2.0.    Through this contest, you can also get the help of the writing clinic. The writing clinic, which you can read more about in the Wein site, is a program where students can get the help of professors with their papers. You simply have to set up a meeting time- either face to face or through zoom- with a professor of your choice and get all the help you need. There are various professors in various fields such as Humanities and Social Studies, Science and Engineering, Entertainment and Sports and lastly, those targeted to exchange students and foreigners. It is not mandatory to go for a professor in the exact field that you are writing about, but doing so will definitely help you gain more professional knowledge. Participating in this guidance course will get you 10 KUM mileages as well, 20 if you upload a review of it.
