MBTI test is a worldwide topic nowadays

Have you ever heard about MBTI? It stands for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and it’s widely known as a personality test. The test is based on 93 questions, and it groups people into 16 discrete types. About two million people take it annually, and MBTI has become one of the main topics of communication. The questions are easy, it is mostly about choosing the actions that you would take in certain situations in daily life. There are eight traits: Introvert (I), Extrovert (E), Intuitive (N), Sensory (S), Thinking (T), Feeling (F), Judging (J), Perceiving (P), and these are assigned into 16 labels based the answers given, such as ESFJ. Each MBTI has a description about the personality, and none of them provides negative descriptions. All the personalities have specific characteristics, which is one of the reasons why people take this test, to know and understand not only mine, but also others’ personalities.
Some people doubt this test. Is it accurate? Can this really tell what kind of person is answering the questions? I do not doubt this test, but I do not have blind faith in MBTI. There are lists of settled explanations about each MBTI, such as in ‘situation A’ a certain MBTI acts like B. Some people feel those lists cause them to get into a rut and hate that others judge them by the description based on their MBTI. It is
true that 16 labels can not decide who they individually are. However, these labels can help make relationships between people easier. By taking the test, it is easy and interesting to know what type of person I am talking to in terms of the direction of the energy, recognizing information, decision making, and lifestyle. Instead of defining myself by the money or academic degree that I have, it is so much better to use the  information about me based on MBTI. It became easier to get to know others by talking about their MBTI. In the past, a long conversation and actions were the only way to understand one another. However, since there are 16 descriptions about each
MBTI, it became easier and quicker to know people. There is even a chart that shows which MBTI goes perfectly with which MBTI.
MBTI is not a permanent thing. It can be changed depends on the environment and people around you. Moreover, it is not just a test that tells you what kind of personality you have. It is a nonjudgmental tool that helps makes better and right
choices. The test does not tell or decide that what choices will make you happy with that personality. The choices are made by the individual, and the MBTI makes the result just a little bit better.
